Powderhorn Resort is located near Mesa, a Western Colorado town. Located on the edge of the beautiful Grand Mesa and covered , with immense quantities of fine, light snow, it is the place to ski and snowboard all winter long. 4 lifts serve 510 acres of ski area with 1,650 vertical feet of well groomed slopes. Snowboarders are welcome at Powderhorn. A new snowboard park with a quarter mile pipe and areas for tricks is located at the top of the mountain.
Cross country skiers will enjoy the 360,000 acres on top of the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat topped mountain, which is ideal for cross country skiing. There is also 12 miles of groomed trails. Skiers and non-skiers alike can enjoy a winter of fun and scenic beauty at Powderhorn. The People are friendly, and the views are breathtaking.
Powderhorn Resort is about 245 miles from Denver. Take I-70 west to the town of Cedaredge where Highway 65 heads south.
